Urwah bin Mughira narrates from his father: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Can a person wipe over his leather socks (during ablution)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, when he has put them on while both (his feet) are clean (i.e., in a state of ablution)."
