بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي دُلُوْكِ الشَّمْسِ وَ غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ
What is reported about the decline of the sun and the darkness of night
Hadith Number: 18
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to say that by «دلوك الشمّس» is meant the declining of the sun.

وحدثني، عن وحدثني، عن مالك، عن داود بن الحصين ، قال: اخبرني مخبر ، ان عبد الله بن عباس ، كان يقول: " دلوك الشمس، إذا فاء الفيء وغسق الليل اجتماع الليل وظلمته"
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that «دلوك الشمّس» is when the shadow turns from the west to the east, and «غسق الليل» is the passing of the night and its darkness.
