(149) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْبَيَانِ أَنَّ صَلَاةَ مَنْ لَا يُقِيمُ صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ غَيْرُ مُجْزِئَةٍ،
Chapter 149: Clarification that prayer is invalid if one does not straighten the back in bowing and prostration

لا انها ناقصة مجزئة كما توهم بعض من يدعي العلم.
It is not that the prayer becomes deficient, but it suffices, just as some people who claim knowledge think.

نا يعقوب بن إبراهيم الدورقي ، نا ابو معاوية ، نا الاعمش . ونا هارون بن إسحاق الهمداني ، انا ابن فضيل ، عن الاعمش . ح وحدثنا سلم بن جنادة ، حدثنا وكيع ، نا الاعمش ، عن عمارة بن عمير ، عن ابي معمر ، عن ابي مسعود ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تجزئ صلاة من لا يقيم صلبه في الركوع والسجود"
Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“The prayer of the one who does not straighten his back in bowing and prostration is not sufficient.”

نا بندار ، نا ابن ابي عدي ، عن شعبة ، عن سليمان عن عمارة ، عن ابي معمر ، عن ابي مسعود ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تجزئ صلاة لاحد او لرجل لا يقيم صلبه في الركوع، ولا في السجود" . نا بشر بن خالد العسكري ، نا محمد يعني ابن جعفر ، عن شعبة ، قال: سمعت سليمان ، قال: سمعت عمارة بن عمير ، بهذا الإسناد مثله، وقال:" في الركوع والسجود"
Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“The prayer of a person or a man is not sufficient who does not straighten his back equally in bowing (ruku’) and prostration (sujud).”The Imam narrates this in a similar manner from his teacher, Bishr bin Khalid ‘Askari, with the same chain. He has stated these words:“(Who) does not straighten his back in bowing and prostration.”

Hadith Number: 593
نا ابو موسى محمد بن المثنى ، واحمد بن المقدام ، قالا: حدثنا ملازم بن عمرو ، حدثني جدي عبد الله بن بدر ، عن عبد الرحمن بن علي بن شيبان ، عن ابيه علي بن شيبان وكان احد الوفد، قال: صلينا خلف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فلمح بمؤخر عينيه إلى رجل لا يقيم صلبه في الركوع والسجود، فلما قضى نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الصلاة، قال:" يا معشر المسلمين، إنه لا صلاة لمن لا يقيم صلبه في الركوع والسجود" . هذا حديث احمد بن المقدام
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Ali bin Shaiban narrates from his respected father, Sayyiduna Ali bin Shaiban (may Allah be pleased with him), that he was a member of the delegation (that came to the service of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him). He says: We performed prayer behind the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he glanced with the corner of his eye at a man who was not straightening his back in bowing (ruku) and prostration (sujud). Then, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) completed the prayer, he said: "O assembly of Muslims, indeed the prayer of the one who does not straighten his back in bowing and prostration is not valid." This is the hadith of Ahmad bin al-Muqaddam.
