(12) بَابُ التَّغْلِيظِ فِي تَرْكِ صَلَاةِ الْجَمَاعَةِ فِي الْقُرَى وَالْبَوَادِي وَاسْتِحْوَاذِ الشَّيْطَانِ عَلَى تَارِكِهَا
12| Severity of missing congregational prayer in villages and deserts and Satan's control over those who miss it
Hadith Number: 1486
نا موسى بن عبد الرحمن المسروقي ، حدثنا ابو اسامة ، حدثني زائدة بن قدامة ، عن السائب بن حبيش الكلاعي ، ح وحدثنا علي بن مسلم ، حدثنا عبد الصمد ، نا زائدة بن قدامة ، نا السائب بن حبيش الكلاعي ، عن معدان بن ابي طلحة اليعمري ، قال: قال ابو الدرداء: اين مسكنك؟ قلت: قرية دون حمص، قال ابو الدرداء : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " ما من ثلاثة نفر في قرية، ولا بدو، فلا تقام فيهم الصلاة إلا استحوذ عليهم الشيطان، فعليك بالجماعة، فإنما ياكل الذئب القاصية" ، وقال المسروقي: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقال:" إن الذئب ياخذ القاصية"
Ma'dan bin Abi Talhah Ya'mari reports that Sayyiduna Abu Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "Where is your home?" I replied, "In a village before Hims." Sayyiduna Abu Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'In whichever village or town there are three people and the prayer (in congregation) is not established among them, then Satan overcomes them. Therefore, adhere to the congregation, for the wolf eats the sheep that stays far and alone.'" In the narration of Masruq, it is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the wolf seizes the sheep (goat) that is far and alone."
