Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) vomited, so he (peace be upon him) broke his fast. He says: I met Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) in the mosque of Damascus, and I mentioned this matter to him. He said: He has spoken the truth; I was the one who poured water for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to perform ablution.
