اخبرنا اخبرنا علي بن خشرم ، ان إسماعيل بن علية ، اخبرهم، عن ايوب ، عن ابي قلابة ، عن معاذة العدوية ، قالت: سالت امراة عائشة رضي الله عنها: " اتقضي الحائض الصلاة؟ فقالت: احرورية انت، قد كنا نحيض عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فلا نقضي ولا نؤمر بالقضاء" .
Mu’adhah ‘Adawiyyah (may Allah have mercy on her) narrates that a woman asked Sayyidah ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her):Will a woman who was menstruating (and passed away) have to make up the missed prayers?She replied:Are you a Haruriyyah (from the settlement of the Khawarij near Kufa)? During the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we too would menstruate, and we neither made up the missed prayers nor were we ordered to do so.

Hadith Number: 102
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، واحمد بن يوسف ، قالا: ثنا عبد الرزاق ، قال: انا سفيان ، عن الاعمش ، عن ثابت بن عبيد ، عن القاسم بن محمد ، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ناوليني الخمرة" وهي حائض، قالت: إني حائض، قال: إنها ليست في يدك" .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hand me the small mat (from the mosque). She said: I am menstruating. He said: Menstruation is not on your hand.

Hadith Number: 103
حدثنا ابن المقرئ ، قال: ثنا سفيان ، عن منصور بن عبد الرحمن ، عن امه ، قالت: سمعت عائشة رضي الله عنها، تقول: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يضع راسه في حجر إحدانا وهي حائض فيتلو القرآن" .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite the Qur'an while resting his head in the lap of one of us (his wives), even though she was menstruating.

Hadith Number: 104
حدثنا ابن خشرم ، قال: ثنا وكيع ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يدني إلي راسه وهو مجاور فاغسله وارجله وانا في حجرتي وانا حائض وهو في المسجد" .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while in the state of i'tikaf, would bring his head close to me from the mosque, and I would be in my chamber, so I would wash and comb his hair, even though I was menstruating.

Hadith Number: 105
حدثنا ابن المقرئ ، قال: ثنا به سفيان ، مرة اخرى، عن ايوب ، عن ابن سيرين ، عن ام عطية رضي الله عنها، قال: ذكر لها، فقالت: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " اخرجوا العواتق وذوات الخدور ليشهدن العيد ودعوة المسلمين وليجتنبن الحيض مصلى المسلمين" .
Sayyida Umm Atiyya (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Bring out the young unmarried girls and the veiled women, so that they may participate in the Eid prayer and the supplications of the Muslims. However, menstruating women should stay away from the Eid prayer area of the Muslims.

Hadith Number: 106
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، قال: ثنا محمد بن يوسف ، قال: ثنا سفيان ، عن منصور ، عن إبراهيم ، عن الاسود ، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: " كنت إذا حضت امرني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فاتزر، فكان يباشرني" .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when I was menstruating, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would instruct me to tie a waist-wrapper, and then he would lie down with me.

Hadith Number: 107
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، قال: ثنا يزيد بن هارون ، قال: ثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن حكيم الاثرم ، عن ابي تميمة الهجيمي ، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من اتى كاهنا فصدقه بما يقول او اتى امراة في دبرها او اتى امراة وهي حائض فقد برئ بما انزل الله على محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever goes to a soothsayer (fortune-teller) and affirms what he says, or has intercourse with his wife in the anus, or has intercourse with his wife during her menstrual period, then he has nothing to do with the religion which was revealed to Muhammad (the Noble, peace and blessings be upon him).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has intercourse with his menstruating wife should give one dinar or half a dinar in charity.

This narration is also mentioned from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) with another chain of transmission. Shu’bah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: So-and-so says, Hakam bin ‘Utaybah (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate this narration as marfu‘. Someone said to Shu’bah (may Allah have mercy on him): Leave aside what so-and-so says and narrate to us what you have heard. He replied: Even if I were given the lifespan of Nuh (peace be upon him) in exchange for narrating or not narrating this hadith, I would not be pleased.

Abdur Rahman (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Shu’bah (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate this hadith as marfu‘, so someone said to him:You used to narrate this hadith as marfu‘ (why don’t you do so now?)He replied:Earlier I was insane, now I am fine.
