Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the Fajr prayer, and recitation became difficult for him. When he finished the prayer, he said: "It seems to me that you recite behind your Imam." We said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah! We recite quickly." He said: "Do not recite anything except Umm al-Qur'an (Surah al-Fatihah), for whoever does not recite it, his prayer is not valid."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: When the Imam says Ameen, you should also say Ameen, because the angels also say Ameen. Whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever catches one rak‘ah of the prayer (within its time) has caught the prayer.

Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not precede me in bowing (ruku) and prostration (sujud), because as much as I bow before you, that much time you will get when I rise from bowing, and as much as I prostrate before you, that much time you will get when I rise from prostration, because my body has become heavy.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever raises his head from prostration before the Imam, does he not fear that Allah may turn his head into the head of a donkey or transform his appearance into that of a donkey?
