Prohibited sales involving risk and others
Hadith Number: 590
حدثنا ابو سعيد الاشج ، قال: ثنا عقبة يعني ابن خالد ، قال: ثنا عبيد الله يعني ابن عمر ، عن ابي الزناد ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن بيع الغرر، وعن بيع الحصاة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (Bay' Gharar) deceptive sales and (Bay' Hasat) pebble sales.

Hadith Number: 591
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، قال: ثنا إسحاق بن عيسى الطباع ، قال: انا مالك ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " نهى عن بيع حبل الحبلة" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of a fetus.

Hadith Number: 592
حدثنا ابن المقرئ ، وعبد الله بن هاشم ، قالا: ثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن عطاء بن يزيد الليثي ، عن ابي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن بيعتين وعن لبستين، فاما البيعتان: فالملامسة، والمنابذة، واما اللبستان: فاشتمال الصماء، والاحتباء في الثوب الواحد ليس على فرجه منه شيء" .
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade two types of sales: mulamasah and munabadah, and forbade two types of clothing: ishtimal as-samma' and wrapping oneself with a single garment in such a way that the private parts are not covered.

Hadith Number: 593
حدثنا عبد الله بن هاشم ، قال: ثنا روح بن عبادة ، عن شعبة ، عن سيار ، عن الشعبي ، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا تبايعوا بإلقاء الحصى، ولا تناجشوا، ولا تبايعوا بالملامسة، ومن اشترى منكم محفلة فكرهها فليردها وليرد معها صاعا من طعام" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not sell by throwing pebbles, do not deceive (i.e., do not artificially raise the price to deceive), and do not sell by mulamasa (i.e., by merely touching). Whoever buys such an animal whose milk has been withheld (to deceive), and he dislikes it, then he should return it and give along with it one sa’ of grain."

Hadith Number: 594
حدثنا ابن المقرئ ، قال: ثنا سفيان ، عن عمرو ، سمع ابا المنهال ، يقول: سمعت إياس بن عبد المزني ، يقول: لا تبيعوا الماء، فإني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " ينهى عن بيع الماء" ، لا ادري اي ماء هو، وقال سفيان مرة اخرى: اخبره ابو المنهال.
Sayyiduna Iyas bin Abd Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that do not sell water, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding the selling of water. It is not known which water is meant. In one narration of Sufyan bin Uyaynah (may Allah have mercy on him), instead of "masma‘", the word "akhbarahu" is used.

Hadith Number: 595
حدثنا محمود بن آدم ، قال: ثنا وكيع ، عن ابن جريج ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن بيع فضل الماء" .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling surplus water.

Hadith Number: 596
حدثنا ابن المقرئ ، قال: ثنا سفيان ، عن ابي الزناد ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا يمنع فضل الماء ليمنع به الكلا" ، قال سفيان:" وثلاث لا يمنعهن: الماء، والكلا، والنار".
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not withhold excess water to prevent (the growth of) grass." Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "Water, grass, and fire—do not prevent (anyone) from these three things."

حدثنا الحسن بن محمد الزعفراني ، قال: ثنا سفيان بن عيينة ، عن حميد الاعرج ، عن سليمان بن عتيق ، عن جابر رضي الله عنه، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم " نهى عن بيع الثمر سنين" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of fruits for several years.

Hadith Number: 598
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، قال: ثنا ابو النعمان ، ومسدد ، قالا: ثنا حماد بن زيد ، عن ايوب ، عن ابي الزبير ، وسعيد بن ميناء ، عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " نهى عن المحاقلة والمزابنة والمخابرة والمعاومة" ، وقال الآخر:" بيع السنين، وعن الثنيا، ورخص في العرايا".
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade Muhaqala, Muzabana, Mukhabara, and Muawama (sale for several years). In the words of one narrator: "He forbade sale for several years and worldly (sales), but permitted 'Ariya (estimation-based sale) as an exception."

حدثنا حسن بن عرفة ، قال: ثنا هشيم ، قال: انا يونس بن عبيد ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " مطل الغني ظلم، وإذا احلت على ملي فاتبعه ولا تبع بيعتين في واحدة" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Delaying (the repayment of debt) by a wealthy person is injustice. When you are referred to a wealthy person (for repayment of debt), accept it, and do not make two transactions in one sale."
