سبق بركعة فقدمه الإمام
If someone misses a rak'ah and the imam appoints him as deputy, what should he do?

٦٠٢٦ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا (١) (معتمر) (٢) بن سليمان عن (سلم) (٣) (ابن) (٤) ابي الذيال عن الحسن في الرجل يسبق بركعة فيحدث الإمام فياخذ بيد الذي سبق فيقدمه كيف يصنع قال (٥): يصلي ركعة ويجلس ثم (يبني) (٦) على صلاة القوم فإذا اتم بهم اربعا جلس فتشهد ثم اخذ بيد رجل فسلم ثم قام الرجل فصلى ركعته التي سبق لها.

حدثنا ابو بكر، قال: حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان، عن سلم بن ابي الذيال، عن الحسن في " الرجل يسبق بركعة، فيحدث الإمام، فياخذ بيد الذي سبق، فيقدمه كيف يصنع؟، قال: قال: يصلي ركعة، ويجلس، ثم يبني على صلاة القوم، فإذا اتم بهم اربعا جلس، فتشهد، ثم اخذ بيد رجل فسلم، ثم قام الرجل فصلى ركعته التي سبق بها"
Hasan was asked: If a man misses one rak‘ah, joins the prayer, then the imam’s wudu’ breaks, so the imam takes the hand of this follower and puts him forward, what should he do? Hasan replied: He should pray one rak‘ah and sit down, then build upon the prayer of the people. When he has led them in four rak‘ahs, he should sit and recite the tashahhud, then take the hand of another man and put him forward. When that person says salam, he should stand up and complete his missed rak‘ah.

٦٠٢٧ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن ابي عبد الله الشقري عن إبراهيم في رجل صلى ركعة فاحدث فاخذ بيد رجل فقدمه وقد فاتته تلك الركعة قال: يصلي بهم بقية صلاتهم فإذا اتم اخذ بيد رجل ممن شهد تلك الركعة فقدمه فسلم بهم ثم قام فقضى تلك الركعة.
حدثنا وكيع، قال: حدثنا حماد بن زيد، عن ابي عبد الله الشقري، عن إبراهيم: في" رجل صلى ركعة، فاحدث، فاخذ بيد رجل، فقدمه وقد فاتته تلك الركعة، قال: يصلي بهم بقية صلاتهم، فإذا اتم اخذ بيد رجل ممن شهد تلك الركعة، فقدمه، فسلم بهم، ثم قام، فقضى تلك الركعة"
Ibrahim was asked about a person who was appointed as the deputy by the imam after missing one rak'ah, so what should he do? He replied that he should lead the people in the remaining prayer, and when he completes the prayer, he should bring forward a person who has performed that rak'ah; when he finishes with salam, then this person should stand up and complete his prayer.
