٢٢٥٢٦ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن الحكم قال: كان لامراة إبراهيم على إبراهيم شيء، فامرني ان اعطيها بقيمة الدراهم دنانير.
It is narrated from Hazrat Hakam that something was due upon the wife of Ibrahim, so he instructed me to give her dinars in exchange for the value of those dirhams.

٢٢٥٢٧ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن ابي زائدة عن داود بن ابي هند عن سعيد بن جبير، قال: رايت ابن عمر يكون عليه، الورق فيعطي بقيمته دنانير (١) إذا قامت على سعر ويكون عليه الدنانير فيعطي الورق بقيمتها (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [أ] زيادة: (حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن أبي زائدة).
(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه أبو يعلى (٥٦٥٤)، والنسائي (٧/ ٢٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) that I saw Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) upon whom silver was obligatory, so he gave dinars in its price, and when dinars were obligatory upon him, he gave silver in its price.

٢٢٥٢٨ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن السدي عن البهي عن يسار بن نمير عن عمر انه لم ير باسا باقتضاء الذهب من الورق، والورق من الذهب (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) حسن؛ السدي صدوق.
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says that there is no harm in giving gold in exchange for silver and silver in exchange for gold.

٢٢٥٢٩ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن موسى بن نافع قال: سالت سعيد ابن جبير عن رجل اقتضى ذهبا من ورق، او ورقا من ذهب في القرض، قال: لا باس به.
Hazrat Musa bin Nafi says that I asked Hazrat Saeed Ibn Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) whether a person can give silver in exchange for gold and gold in exchange for silver as a loan? He replied that there is no harm in it.

٢٢٥٣٠ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا معتمر عن معمر عن ابن طاوس عن ابيه انه لم ير به باسا.
Hazrat Tawus did not consider there to be any harm in it.

٢٢٥٣١ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا معتمر عن معمر عن الزهري وقتادة، انهما قالا: لا باس بذلك.
Hazrat Qatadah and Hazrat Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on them) did not consider there to be any harm in this.

٢٢٥٣٢ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن الحسن قال: لا باس باقتضاء الذهب من الورق، والورق من الذهب بقيمة السوق.
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said that if, considering the market price, gold is given in exchange for silver and silver is given in exchange for gold, then there is no harm.

٢٢٥٣٣ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن إدريس عن هشام عن الحسن قال: لا باس به.
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said that there is no harm in doing so.

٢٢٥٣٤ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابو بكر (الحنفي) (١) عن افلح (٢) عن القاسم قال: لا باس به.

(٢) في [ز]: زيادة (ابن أفلح).
Hazrat Qasim (may Allah have mercy on him) says that there is no harm in it.

٢٢٥٣٥ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن ابي غنية عن ابيه عن الحكم انه كان لا يرى باسا ان يكون للرجل على الرجل دنانير فياخذ (منه) (١) (دراهم) (٢) (بصرفها) (٣)، ولا يرى باسا ان يزيده على السعر او ينقص منه إذا كان عن تراض منهما.

Hazrat Hakam states that if a person owes dinars to another and gives dirhams instead, there is no harm, even if their value becomes somewhat less or more, provided both are satisfied with it.
