If Two People Dispute Over an Item

٢٤٨٧٢ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم عن إسماعيل بن سالم عن الشعبي في رجلين (تدارآ) (١) في مال كان بينهما، فوضعاه على (يدي عدل) (٢)، قال: فالمال على حاله عند العدل حتى يقيم احدهما البينة.
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) أي: تدافعا، وفي [ط]: (تذاريا)، وفي [أ، هـ]: (تداريا).
(٢) في [ز]: (يد رجل).
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says regarding those two persons who had a dispute over wealth, and they deposited that wealth with a just person, he said: The wealth will remain in the possession of the just person in that state until one of them presents a witness.
