If a Person Has a Debt and Does Not Pay Despite Being Wealthy

٢٤٩١٠ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابو اسامة عن سفيان وزهير عن ابي سنان عن شيخ من بني الهجيم قال: سمعت ابا هريرة يقول: ايما رجل كان عليه دين فايسر فلم يقضه كان كآكل سحت (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) مجهول، لإبهام الراوي عن أبي هريرة.
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that whoever has a debt and, despite having the ability, does not pay it, then he is consuming what is unlawful.

٢٤٩١١ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابو اسامة عن ابي مكين عن عكرمة قال: ايما رجل كان عليه دين إلى اجل فايسر ولم يقضه فقد هلك.
Hazrat Ikrimah says that if a person owes a debt for a fixed period, then becomes wealthy and still does not pay the debt, he is ruined.
