٣٢١١٤ - حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: كان يكره ان يقرا القرآن (عند الامر) (١) بعرض من امر الدنيا.

Hazrat Mughira narrates that Ibrahim disliked reciting the Qur'an in the event of any worldly matter arising.

٣٢١١٥ - حدثنا حفص عن هشام بن عروة قال: كان ابي إذا راى شيئا من امر الدنيا يعجبه قال: ﴿لا تمدن عينيك إلى ما متعنا به ازواجا منهم﴾ [الحجر: ٨٨].
Hazrat Hisham bin Urwah narrates that whenever my father saw something of the world that pleased him, he would recite the verse! And do not raise your eyes towards that which We have given to different groups among them as the splendor of the life of this world.
