Hazrat Musayyib narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The long surahs of the Quran are like the Torah, and those surahs which have one hundred verses are like the Gospel, and the Mathani surahs are like the Psalms, and the rest of the Quran is in addition to these.

Hazrat A'mash says that Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair said about this verse of the Qur'an (And indeed We have written in the Zabur): that is, the Qur'an, the Torah, and the Gospel.

Dawood says that Imam Shabi said regarding this verse (And indeed We have written in the Zabur after the advice): The Zabur of Dawood is after the advice of Musa.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Rabah narrates that I heard Hazrat Ka'b saying: The beginning of the Torah is the beginning of Surah An'am, and the end of the Torah is the end of Surah Hud.
