٣٣٣٠١ - حدثنا عبد الاعلى عن خالد عن ابي نضرة عن ابي سعيد ان ابا بكر كان يرى الجد ابا (١)

(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه الدارمي (٢٩٠٣)، والبيهقي ٦/ ٢٤٦.
Hazrat Abu Saeed narrates that Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) considered the grandfather to be just like the father.

٣٣٣٠٢ - حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن الشيباني عن ابي (بردة) (١) عن كردوس بن عباس الثعلبي عن ابي موسى ان ابا بكر جعل الجد ابا (٢).

(١) في [أ، ب، جـ، م]: (نضرة)،
(٢) حسن؛ كردوس صدوق، أخرجه الدارمي (٢٩٠٤).
Kurdoos bin Abbas narrates from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) considered the grandfather to be just like the father.

٣٣٣٠٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن ابن جريج عن ابن ابي مليكة قال: قال ابن الزبير: إن الذي قال فيه رسول الله ﷺ:"لو كنت متخذا خليلا لاتخذته خليلا"، ⦗٢٩٢⦘ جعل الجد ابا، يعني: ابا بكر (١).

(١) صحيح؛ صرح ابن جريج بالسماع كما عند عبد الرزاق (١٩٠٤٩)، ولاحظ الخطأ المطبعي وعدله من المحلى ٩/ ٢٧٨، وإعلام الموقعين ١/ ٣٧٩، أخرجه البخاري (٣٦٥٨)، وأحمد (١٦١١٢).
Ibn Abi Mulaykah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Indeed, the person about whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If I were to take anyone as a friend, I would certainly take Abu Bakr as a friend," he (Abu Bakr) considered the grandfather to be in the place of the father.

٣٣٣٠٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن فرات القزاز عن سعيد بن جبير قال: كتب ابن الزبير إلى عبد الله بن عتبة ان ابا بكر كان يجعل الجد ابا (١).

(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه أحمد (١٦١٥٢)، وأبو يعلى (٦٨٠٥)، وأبو نعيم في الحلية ٤/ ٣٠٧، وابن عساكر ٣٠/ ٢٤٤، ووكيع في أخبار القضاة ٢/ ٤٠٥.
From another chain of narration, Hazrat Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this view of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him).

٣٣٣٠٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبد الله بن خالد عن عبد الرحمن بن معقل قال: كنت عند ابن عباس فساله رجل عن الجد فقال له ابن عباس: اي اب لك اكبر؟ فلم يدر الرجل ما يقول، فقلت انا: آدم، فقال ابن عباس: إن الله يقول: ﴿يا بني ادم﴾ (١).

(١) حسن؛ عبد الرحمن بن معقل صدوق، أخرجه الدارمي (٢٩٢٤)، والبيهقي ٦/ ٢٤٦.
Abdur Rahman bin Mu’qil narrates that I was with Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) when a man asked him about the grandfather. He said to him: Which of your fathers is greater? The man did not understand his answer. I said: Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him). He said: Allah Himself says: O sons of Adam!

٣٣٣٠٦ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن ليث عن طاوس عن ابي بكر وابن عباس وعثمان انهم جعلوا الجد ابا (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) ضعيف منقطع؛ ليث ضعيف، وطاوس لم يدرك أبا بكر.
Hazrat Tawus narrated regarding Hazrat Abu Bakr, Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) that they considered the ruling of the grandfather to be the same as that of the father.

٣٣٣٠٧ - حدثناحفص عن حجاج عن عطاء عن ابن عباس انه جعله ابا (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) حسن؛ الحجاج صدوق صرح بالتحديث عند عبد الرزاق، وأخرجه عبد الرزاق (١٩٠٥٤)، والدارمي (٢٩٢٦)، وسعيد بن منصور (٤٩).
Ata also narrates the same opinion from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them).

٣٣٣٠٨ - حدثنا (ابن) (١) مهدي عن مالك بن انس عن الزهري عن قبيصة بن ⦗٢٩٣⦘ ذؤيب ان عمر كان يفرض للجد الذي يفرض له الناس اليوم (٢).

(١) تكرر في: [هـ].
(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه مالك (١٥٧٤).
It is narrated from Qabeesah bin Dhu’ayb that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to allot to the grandfather the same share as is allotted nowadays. The narrator says that I asked him,“Do you mean the opinion of Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him)?”He replied,“Yes!”

33309 - I said to him: Do you mean the statement of Zayd (ibn Thabit?) (1) He said: Yes.

٣٣٣١٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن الربيع عن عطاء عن ابي بكر قال: الجد بمنزلة الاب ما لم يكن اب دونه، (وابن) (١) الابن بمنزلة الابن ما لم يكن ابن دونه (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [جـ]: (والابن).
(٢) منقطع، عطاء لم يدرك أبا بكر، أخرجه البيهقي ٦/ ٢٢٥.
Ata narrates the statement of Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the grandfather is in the position of the father as long as the father is not present beneath him, and the grandson is like the son when the son is not present.
