(٤٠) ضعيف جدًا؛ محمد بن سالم متروك.

Hazrat Sha’bi narrates that: (1) Regarding the full sister, paternal half-brother and sister, and grandfather, the statement of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) is that the full sister gets half of the estate, and the remaining estate is to be divided between the grandfather and the paternal half-brother and sister in such a way that the estate is divided into five parts, of which two parts are given to the grandfather and one part to the sister. According to the statement of Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), the full sister gets half of the estate and the grandfather gets the remainder, and the paternal half-brother and sister get nothing. According to the statement of Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), this issue is resolved by dividing the estate into eighteen parts: six parts to the grandfather, i.e., one third of the estate, six parts to the paternal half-brother, three parts to the paternal half-sister, and three parts to the full sister. Then the paternal half-brother and sister return six parts to the full sister, thus the full sister’s share becomes nine parts, i.e., half of the estate, and three parts remain for the paternal half-brother and sister, two parts for the brother and one part for the sister. (2) Regarding the issue of two full sisters, one paternal half-brother, and the grandfather, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the two full sisters get two-thirds of the estate and the remainder is divided between the grandfather and the brother. Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the two full sisters get two-thirds of the estate and the remainder is for the grandfather, and the paternal half-brother gets nothing. According to the statement of Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him), the estate is divided into three parts: one part for the grandfather, one for the brother, and one part for the two sisters. Then the paternal half-brother returns his share to the two full sisters, thus the sisters’ two-thirds share is completed and nothing remains for the brother. (3) Regarding two full sisters, one paternal half-sister, and the grandfather, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the two full sisters get two-thirds of the estate and the remainder is for the grandfather, and the paternal half-sister gets nothing. Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the estate is divided into five parts: two parts for the grandfather, two parts for the two full sisters, and one part for the paternal half-sister. Then the paternal half-sister returns her share to the two full sisters and nothing remains for her. (4) Regarding two full sisters, one paternal half-brother and sister, and the grandfather, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the two full sisters get two-thirds of the estate and the grandfather gets one-sixth of the estate, and the remainder is divided between the paternal half-brother and sister according to the rule that the male gets twice as much as the female. Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the two full sisters get two-thirds of the estate and the remainder is for the grandfather, and the paternal half-brother and sister get nothing. Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the estate is divided into fifteen parts: five parts for the grandfather, i.e., one third of the estate, four parts for the paternal half-brother, two parts for the paternal half-sister, and four parts for the two full sisters. Then the paternal half-brother and sister return their shares to the two full sisters, thus their two-thirds share is completed and nothing remains for the paternal half-brother and sister. (5) Regarding two full sisters, two paternal half-sisters, and the grandfather, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the two full sisters get two-thirds of the estate and the remainder is for the grandfather, and the paternal half-sisters get nothing. Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the estate is divided into six parts: two parts for the grandfather, two parts for the two full sisters, and two parts for the two paternal half-sisters. Then the paternal half-sisters return their shares to the full sisters, thus the full sisters’ two-thirds share is completed and nothing remains for the paternal half-sisters. (6) Regarding the full sister, three paternal half-sisters, and the grandfather, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the full sister gets half of the estate and the paternal half-sisters get one-sixth of the estate to complete two-thirds, and the remainder is for the grandfather. Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the estate is divided into eighteen parts: six parts for the grandfather, three parts for the full sister, and nine parts for the paternal half-sisters. Then the paternal half-sisters return six parts to the full sister, thus the full sister’s share becomes half of the estate, and one part remains for the paternal half-sisters. (7) And regarding the issue of two full sisters, one paternal half-brother, two paternal half-sisters, and the grandfather, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the two full sisters get two-thirds of the estate and the grandfather gets one-sixth of the estate, and the remainder is for the paternal half-brother and sisters...
