Mention of Uways al-Qarni (may Allah be pleased with him)

٣٤٥١٨ - حدثنا ابو اسامة عن هشام) (١) عن الحسن قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"يدخل الجنة بشفاعة رجل من امتي مثل ربيعة ومضر" (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:

(٢) مرسل؛ الحسن تابعي، أخرجه الحاكم ٣/ ٤٠٥، وعبد اللَّه بن أحمد في زوائد الزهد ص ١٢٦، وابن عساكر ٩/ ٧٣٩، والخطيب في موضح أوهام الجمع ٢/ ٥٤، واللالكائي في كرامات الأولياء (٥٧)، والدينوري في المجالسة (٢٢١٦).
Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Because of the intercession of one man from my Ummah, as many people from the tribe of Rabi’ah and the tribe of Mudar will enter Paradise. Hazrat Huwaisib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that we asked Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him): Were you told the name of this person? He (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: Yes! Hazrat Uwais Qarni (may Allah be pleased with him).

34519 - He (1) said: (He narrated to me) (2) Hushab said: So we said to al-Hasan: Was he named for you? He said: Yes, Uways al-Qarani.

٣٤٥٢٠ - حدثنا ابو اسامة قال: ثنا سليمان بن المغيرة عن الجريري عن ابي نضرة عن (اسير) (١) بن جابر عن عمر عن النبي ﷺ انه قال:"سيقدم عليكم رجل يقال له: اويس، كان به بياض فدعا الله (له) (٢)، فاذهبه الله، فمن لقيه منكم فمروه فليستغفر له"، قال: فلقيه عمر فقال: استغفر لي، فاستغفر له (٣).

(٣) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسلم (٢٥٤٢)، وأحمد (٢٦٦).
Hazrat Umar narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon a person will come to you whose name will be Uwais. There will be a white mark on his face. When he prays to Allah, Allah will remove it. Whoever among you meets him should ask him to seek forgiveness for him. The narrator says: Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) met him and said: Pray for forgiveness for me. So he (may Allah be pleased with him) prayed for his forgiveness.
