Narrations Regarding the Virtue of the People of Badr

٣٤٥٢١ - حدثنا (عبد الرحيم) (١) بن سليمان عن يحيى بن سعيد عن (معاذ) (٢) ابن رفاعة بن رافع الانصاري (٣) ان ملكا اتى رسول الله ﷺ فقال: كيف اصحاب بدر فيكم؟ فقال:"افضل الناس"، فقال الملك: وكذلك من شهد بدرا من الملائكة (٤).

(٣) في [هـ]: زيادة (عن جده).
(٤) مرسل؛ معاذ بن رفاعة تابعي، أخرجه ابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (٣٣٨)، والبيهقي في الدلائل ٣/ ١٥١، وسيأتي ١٤/ ٣٨٥ برقم [٣٩٤٩٤] من حديث يحيى عن عباية عن جده، ورواه البخاري (٣٩٩ (٢) من حديث يحيى عن معاذ بن رفاعة عن أبيه.
Hazrat Yahya bin Saeed (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Mu’adh bin Rifa’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Indeed, an angel came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked: What is the status of your companions of Badr among you? Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: They are the most virtuous among the people. So the angel submitted: In the same way, among us, those angels are the most virtuous who were present at the Battle of Badr.

٣٤٥٢٢ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن عمرو عن (الحسن) (١) بن محمد (عن) (٢) (عبيد) (٣) الله بن ابي رافع اخبره عن علي قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"ما يدريك لعل الله قد اطلع على اهل بدر فقال: اعملوا ما شئتم فقد غفرت لكم" (٤).

(٢) في [م]: بياض، وفي [جـ]: (بن).
(٣) في [أ، ب، جـ]: (عبد).
(٤) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (٣٠٠٧)، ومسلم (٢٤٩٤).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you know, indeed Allah Almighty turned His attention towards the participants of Badr and said: Do whatever you wish, verily I have forgiven you.

٣٤٥٢٣ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن حماد بن سلمة عن عاصم بن ابي النجود عن ابي صالح عن ابي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"إن الله ﵎ اطلع ⦗١٥٠⦘ على اهل بدر فقال: اعملوا ما شئتم فقد غفرت لكم" (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) صحيح؛ عاصم ثقة في غير زر وأبي وائل على الصحيح؛ أخرجه أحمد (٧٩٤٠)، وأبو داود (٤٦٥٤)، والحاكم ٤/ ٧٧، وبنحوه الدارمي (٢٧٦١)، وابن أبي عاصم في الآحاد (٣٣٢)، وابن حبان (٤٧٩٨)، والطبراني في الأوسط (٦٦٢).
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah the Blessed and Exalted turned towards the people of Badr and said: Do whatever you wish. Verily, I have forgiven you.

٣٤٥٢٤ - حدثنا شبابة بن سوار عن ليث بن سعد عن ابي الزبير (عن جابر) (١) ان عبد حاطب بن ابي بلتعة اتى رسول الله ﷺ ليشتكي حاطبا فقال: يا رسول الله ليدخلن حاطب النار، فقال رسول الله ﷺ:"كذبت، لا يدخلها إنه قد شهد بدرا والحديبية" (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) سقط من: [أ، ب، جـ، هـ].
(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسلم (٢١٩٥)، وأحمد (١٤٧٧١).
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the slave of Hazrat Hatib bin Abi Balta’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to complain about Hazrat Hatib (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! Hatib will surely enter Hell. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You have lied, he will not enter Hell, because he was present at the Battle of Badr and at Hudaybiyyah.
