The Prophet's Mosque (Masjid al-Nabawi)

٣٤٧٠٢ - حدثنا حاتم عن حميد بن صخر عن المقبري عن ابي هريرة قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول:" (من) (١) جاء مسجدي هذا، -قال: ابو بكر (يعني) (٢) مسجد المدينة- لم ياته إلا لخير يعلمه او (يتعلمه) (٣) فهو بمنزلة المجاهد في سبيل الله، ومن جاء لغير ذلك فهو بمنزلة الرجل ينظر إلى متاع غيره" (٤).

(٤) حسن؛ حميد بن صخر صدوق، أخرجه أحمد (٩٤١٩)، وابن حبان (٨٧)، والحاكم ١/ ٩١، ومالك ١/ ١٦٠، وأبو يعلى (٦٤٧٢)، وابن عدي ٢/ ٦٩١.
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever comes to this mosque of mine... Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says this means the mosque of Madinah Munawwarah... and he comes only to teach something good or to learn it, then that person is in the rank of one who strives in the path of Allah. And whoever comes for any other purpose, then he is in the rank of one who looks at someone else's belongings.

٣٤٧٠٣ - حدثنا شبابة قال: ثنا ليث بن سعد عن نافع عن إبراهيم بن عبد الله ابن معبد عن ابن عباس عن ميمونة قالت: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول:"صلاة فيه -يعني مسجد المدينة- افضل من الف صلاة فيما سواه إلا مسجد مكة" (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسلم (١٣٩٦)، وأحمد (٢٦٨٢٦).
Hazrat Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), the Mother of the Believers, narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Offering one prayer in this mosque of mine — that is, in the Prophet’s Mosque صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم — is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque, except for the mosque of Makkah. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The people of Egypt have also narrated this hadith, but in their chain of narration, the mention of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) is not included.

٣٤٧٠٤ - قال ابو بكر: ورواة اهل مصر لا يدخلون فيه ابن عباس (١).

(١) أخرجه أحمد (٢٦٨٦٩)، والنسائي (٧٧٠)، والبخاري في التاريخ ١/ ٣٠٢، ورجحه و ٢/ ٤٧، وأخرجه أيضًا الطحاوي ٣/ ١٢٦، والبيهقي ١٠/ ٨٣، والخطيب ١/ ٣٤٣، والفاكهي (١٢١٨).
34704 - Abu Bakr said: And the narrators of the people of Egypt do not include Ibn Abbas (1).

٣٤٧٠٥ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين عن عبد الله بن عامر عن (عمران) (١) بن ابي انس عن سهل بن سعد عن ابي بن كعب عن النبي ﷺ قال:"المسجد الذي اسس على التقوى هو مسجدي" (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [أ، ب، جـ]: (عمر).
(٢) ضعيف؛ لضعف عبد اللَّه بن عامر، أخرجه أحمد (٢١١٠٧)، والحاكم ٢/ ٣٣٤، وعبد بن حميد (١٦٦)، وابن جرير في التفسير ١١/ ٢٨، والشاشي (١٤٢٢)، والبلاذري في فتوح البلدان ص ١١، والخطيب في التاريخ ٤/ ٧٦، والضياء في المختارة (١١٣٣).
Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The mosque which was founded on piety is my mosque.
