٣٨٨٥٦ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن عمرو سمع جابرا يقول: سمعت ابن عباس يقول: سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول:"إذا لم يجد المحرم إزارا فليلبس سراويل، وإذا لم ⦗٢٢٣⦘ يجد نعلين فليلبس خفين" (١).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (١٨٤٣)، ومسلم (١١٧٨).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) says that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: When a Muhrim does not find an izar (waist-wrapper), he should wear trousers, and when a Muhrim does not find shoes, he should wear socks.

٣٨٨٥٧ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين عن زهير عن ابي الزبير عن جابر قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"من لم يجد نعلين فليلبس خفين، ومن لم يجد ازارا فليلبس سراويل (١)" (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [جـ]: زيادة (للمحرم).
(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه مسلم (١١٧٩)، وأحمد (١٤٤٦٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever does not find shoes should wear socks, and whoever does not find a lungi should wear trousers.

٣٨٨٥٨ - حدثنا ابن علية عن ايوب عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: قال رجل: يا رسول الله ﷺ ما يلبس المحرم او ما يترك المحرم؟ قال:"لا يلبس القميص ولا السراويل ولا العمامة ولا الخفين إلا ان لا يجد نعلين (١) فليلبسهما اسفل من الكعبين" (٢).

(١) في [جـ]: زيادة (فإن لم يجد نعلين).
(٢) صحيح؛ أخرجه البخاري (١٣٤)، ومسلم (١١٧٧).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what should a Muhrim wear? Or he asked: what should a Muhrim leave off? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, trousers, turban, or socks. However, if shoes are not available, then whoever cannot find shoes may wear socks after cutting them below the ankles. And (Imam) Abu Hanifa's opinion has been mentioned that: he should not do so. If he does so, then a Muhrim will be liable to offer a sacrifice (dam).
