Discussion on Prayer
قَوْلُ الْإِمَامِ: اسْتَوُوا
The imam saying: "Straighten your rows"

حدثنا الحسن بن الخضر، بمصر ، ثنا محمد بن احمد ابو العلاء ، ثنا محمد بن سوار ، ثنا ابو خالد الاحمر ، عن حميد ، عن انس، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا قام في الصلاة قال: هكذا وهكذا عن يمينه وعن شماله، ثم يقول:" استووا استووا وتعادلوا".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stand for prayer, he would gesture towards the right and the left like this and like this, and then he would say:“Keep (the row) straight and remain aligned.”
