Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
كِتَابُ التَّفْسِيرِ
Book of Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis)
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَابْتَغُوا مَا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَكُمْ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {And seek what Allah has decreed for you.}
Hadith Number: 276
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا عبد الرحمن بن زياد ، عن شعبة ، قال: سالت الحكم ، عن قوله عز وجل: " وابتغوا ما كتب الله لكم سورة البقرة آية 187 " يعني الولد".
Shu’bah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Hakam (may Allah have mercy on him) about the statement of Allah, the Exalted:“And seek what Allah has ordained for you,”so he said: It means children.
