Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
كِتَابُ الطَّلَاقِ
Book of Divorce
وَكَانَ عُمَرُ «إِذَا أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا أَوْجَعَ ظَهْرَهُ»
And Umar used to say: "If a man was brought who divorced his wife three times, he would be punished."
Hadith Number: 1094
نا نا إسماعيل بن عياش، عن عطاء الخراساني، ان العلاء بن جعونة طلق امراته مائة تطليقة، فارسل إليه عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه" ان اعتزل امراتك" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ata Khurasani (may Allah have mercy on him) that Alaa bin Jaudah gave his wife one hundred divorces, so Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) sent a message saying, "Separate from your wife."

Hadith Number: 1095
نا نا هشيم، قال: انا يحيى بن سعيد، عن بكير بن عبد الله بن الاشج، عن عطاء بن يسار، انه سئل عن رجل طلق امراته ثلاثا قبل ان يدخل بها، قال:" الثلاث والواحدة للبكر سواء"، فقال له عبد الله بن عمرو:" إنما انت قاص ولست بمفت، الواحدة تبينها، والثلاث تحرمها حتى تنكح زوجا غيره" .
Hazrat Ata bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: For a virgin woman, one divorce and three divorces are equal. So Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: You are a storyteller, not a mufti. One divorce causes separation, and three divorces cause prohibition.

Hadith Number: 1096
نا هشيم، قال: انا ابن ابي ليلى، عن رجل حدثه , عن ابيه، عن علي رضي الله عنه مثل ذلك.
It is also narrated in a similar manner from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).

نا هشيم، قال: نا حصين، ومغيرة، عن إبراهيم، قال: " ولا تحل له حتى تنكح زوجا غيره" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "She will not become lawful until she marries another (man)."

Hadith Number: 1098
نا نا هشيم، قال: انا جويبر، عن الضحاك، عن ابن عباس ، وابن مسعود , قالا: " لا تحل له حتى تنكح زوجا غيره" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas and Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "She will not become lawful until she marries another (man)."

Hadith Number: 1099
نا نا سفيان، عن عمرو بن دينار، قال: طلق ابن عمر امراة له، فقالت له: " هل رايت مني شيئا تكرهه؟ قال: لا , قالت: ففيم تطلق المراة العفيفة المسلمة؟ قال: فارتجعها" .
When Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) divorced a woman, she said: "What fault did you find in me?" He replied: "Nothing." So the woman said: "Then why do you divorce a pure Muslim woman?" Consequently, Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) took her back.
