كِتَابُ الطَّلَاقِ
Book of Divorce
حَبْلُكِ عَلَى غَارِبِكِ وَنَحْوُ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الْكِنَايَاتِ
Your rope is on your withers and similar expressions of allusive divorce
Hadith Number: 1162
نا ابو معاوية، قال: نا الاعمش، عن إبراهيم، قال: سئل عن رجل قيل له: الك امراة؟، وله امراة، قال: لا، قال:" ليس بشيء كذبة كذبها" .
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If someone is asked about his wife and he denies it, then this is simply a lie.

Hadith Number: 1163
نا ابو عوانة، عن مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، في الرجل يقال له تزوجت؟ فيقول: لا، ويقال: لك امراة؟ فيقول: لا , قال:" ليس بشيء كذبة كذبها" .
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If someone is asked about marriage or about his wife and he denies it, then this is simply a lie.

Hadith Number: 1164
نا هشيم، قال: انا مغيرة، عن إبراهيم , قال: " كان يقال: الطلاق ما عني به الطلاق" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Divorce is only that which is intended as divorce.

Hadith Number: 1165
نا خالد بن عبد الله، قال: انا المغيرة، عن إبراهيم , انه كان يقال:" إنما الطلاق ما عني به الطلاق" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: In reality, divorce is only that by which divorce is intended.

Hadith Number: 1166
نا سفيان، عن معمر، عن ابن طاوس، عن ابيه، قال: " ما اريد به الطلاق فهو طلاق" .
Hazrat Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The intention of divorce itself is divorce.

Hadith Number: 1167
نا ابو معاوية، قال: نا الحجاج بن ارطاة، عن إسماعيل بن رجاء، عن إبراهيم، عن مسروق , قال: " كل كلام يشبه الطلاق ريد به الطلاق فهو طلاق" .
Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Any statement that resembles divorce and is intended as divorce is considered divorce.
