باب الإخلاص وأعمال السر - ذكر الإخبار بأن على المرء تعهد قلبه وعمله دون تعهده نفسه وماله "
Chapter on Sincerity and Secret Deeds – One must care for his heart and deeds, not just his body and wealth.
Hadith Number: 394
اخبرنا ابو عروبة ، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن هشام الحراني ، قال: حدثنا مخلد بن يزيد ، عن جعفر بن برقان ، عن يزيد بن الاصم ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إن الله لا ينظر إلى صوركم واموالكم، ولكن ينظر إلى قلوبكم واعمالكم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearances or your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds."
