Chapter on Sincerity and Secret Deeds – Description of associating others with Allah in one’s deeds.
Hadith Number: 405
اخبرنا محمد بن إبراهيم الدوري بالبصرة، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحجاج السامي ، قال: حدثنا عبد العزيز بن مسلم ، عن الربيع بن انس ، عن ابي العالية ، عن ابي بن كعب ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " بشر هذه الامة بالنصر والسناء والتمكين، فمن عمل منهم عمل الآخرة للدنيا، لم يكن له في الآخرة نصيب" .
Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Give glad tidings to this Ummah of help, brilliance, and establishment (i.e., influence in the world). Whoever among them performs an act of the Hereafter for the sake of the world will have no share in the Hereafter."
