باب حق الوالدين - ذكر الإخبار عن نفي دخول الجنة عمن ادعى أبا غير أبيه
Chapter on Parents’ Rights – Denial of Paradise to one who claims a father other than his own.
Hadith Number: 415
اخبرنا حامد بن محمد بن شعيب ، حدثنا سريج بن يونس ، حدثنا هشيم ، اخبرنا خالد ، عن ابي عثمان ، قال: لما ادعي زياد، لقيت ابا بكرة ، فقلت: ما هذا الذي صنعتم؟ إني سمعت سعد بن ابي وقاص ، يقول: سمع اذناي ووعاه قلبي، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من ادعى ابا في الإسلام، وهو يعلم انه غير ابيه، فالجنة عليه حرام" فقال ابو بكرة: وانا سمعته من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Abu Uthman narrates: When a claim was made regarding Ziyad, I met Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) and I said: What are you people doing? I heard Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) saying this, he says: Both my ears heard this and my heart preserved it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Whoever attributes himself to someone as his father in Islam, knowing that he is not his father, Paradise is forbidden for such a person.”So Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I also heard this from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
