Chapter on Companionship and Sitting – Warning against leaving a gathering without mentioning Allah
Hadith Number: 592
اخبرنا حاجب بن اركين الفرغاني ، قال: حدثنا احمد بن إبراهيم الدورقي ، قال: حدثنا ابن مهدي ، عن شعبة ، عن الاعمش ، عن ابي صالح ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما قعد قوم مقعدا لا يذكرون الله فيه ويصلون على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلا كان عليهم حسرة يوم القيامة، وإن دخلوا الجنة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever some people sit together in a place and do not remember Allah there, nor do they send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then this will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection, even if those people enter Paradise."
