Chapter on the Sunnahs of Ablution - The number of times to wash hands after sleep
Hadith Number: 1064
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان الشيباني ، حدثنا حبان بن موسى ، اخبرنا عبد الله ، عن خالد الحذاء ، عن عبد الله بن شقيق ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا استيقظ احدكم من منامه، فلا يغمس يده في الإناء حتى يغسلها ثلاث مرات" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any person wakes up from sleep, he should not dip his hand into the vessel until he has washed it three times."
