Hadith Number: 1283
اخبرنا محمد بن المنذر بن سعيد ، قال: حدثنا يوسف بن سعيد بن مسلم ، قال: حدثنا حجاج ، عن ابن جريج ، قال: اخبرنا عمرو بن دينار ، قال: اخبرني عطاء بن ابي رباح منذ حين، عن ابن عباس ، قال: حدثتني ميمونة زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ان شاة لهم ماتت، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " هلا دبغتم إهابها فاستمتعتم به" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The noble wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), informed me of this: One of her goats died, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Why do you not tan its skin and benefit from it?
