فصل في الصلاة على الدابة - ذكر البيان بأن السجدتين من المتنفل على راحلته يجب أن تكون في الإيماء أخفض من الركوع
Section on prayer on a riding animal – clarification that the two prostrations for one praying voluntarily on his mount should be lower than the bowing
Hadith Number: 2523
اخبرنا ابن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا احمد بن المقدام ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكر ، قال: حدثنا ابن جريج ، قال: اخبرنا ابو الزبير ، انه سمع جابرا يقول:" رايت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يصلي على راحلته يصلي النوافل في كل وجه، ولكنه يخفض السجدتين من الركعتين يومئ إيماء" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing prayer on his mount. He was offering voluntary prayers, regardless of which direction he was facing. However, while prostrating, he would bend lower than he did in bowing. He was performing bowing and prostration by gestures.
