Section on visiting graves – Instruction to greet the inhabitants of the graves upon entering
Hadith Number: 3171
اخبرنا الحسين بن إدريس الانصاري ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن العلاء ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل المقبرة فقال: " السلام عليكم دار قوم مؤمنين، وإنا إن شاء الله بكم للاحقون" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered the graveyard and recited this: "O inhabitants of the land of the believers! Peace be upon you. Indeed, we too, if Allah wills, shall join you."
