Hadith Number: 3172
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، قال: اخبرنا إسماعيل بن جعفر ، عن شريك بن ابي نمر ، عن عطاء بن يسار ، عن عائشة ، انها قالت: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كلما كانت ليلتها من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يخرج من آخر الليل إلى البقيع فيقول: " السلام عليكم دار قوم مؤمنين، واتانا وإياكم ما توعدون غدا مؤجلون، وإنا إن شاء الله بكم لاحقون، اللهم اغفر لاهل بقيع الغرقد" .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Whenever it was the turn of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to spend the night with her, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would go towards Baqi in the last part of the night and would say: "O inhabitants of the land of the believing people! Peace be upon you. What was promised to you will come to us and to you, and if Allah wills, we will also join you. O Allah! Forgive all the people of Baqi."
