Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the Ka'bah. With him were Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both), Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyiduna Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him). These gentlemen kept the door closed for quite some time, then it was opened. I was the first to enter inside. I met Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), so I asked him: Where did the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) perform the prayer? He replied: Between the two pillars in front. (Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates:) I did not remember to ask him how many rak'ahs the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed.
