Hadith Number: 4091
اخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن الجنيد ، قال: حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، قال: حدثنا ابو عوانة ، عن قتادة ، وعبد العزيز بن صهيب ، عن انس ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اعتق صفية، وجعل عتقها صداقها" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) set Lady Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) free and made her freedom her dowry.

اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد الطيالسي ، قال: حدثنا الليث بن سعد ، عن يزيد بن ابي حبيب ، عن ابي الخير ، عن عقبة بن عامر ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " احق الشروط ان يوفى به ما استحللتم به الفروج" ، قال ابو حاتم رضي الله عنه: ابو الخير: مرثد بن عبد الله اليزني.
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The condition most deserving to be fulfilled is that by which you make private parts lawful (i.e., the marriage contract)." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The narrator named Abu al-Khair is Marthad bin Abdullah Yazni.
