باب النفقة - ذكر البيان بأن الصدقة إنما تكون للمنفق على أهله إذا احتسب في ذلك-
Chapter: Maintenance – Clarifying that charity is for those who spend on their families with the right intention
Hadith Number: 4239
اخبرنا محمد بن علان باذنة، قال: حدثنا لوين ، قال: حدثنا ابن المبارك ، عن شعبة ، عن عدي بن ثابت ، عن عبد الله بن يزيد، عن ابي مسعود ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا انفق الرجل على اهله وهو يحتسبها، كانت له صدقة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When a person spends on his wife hoping for reward, then this act is charity for him."
