It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that during the illness of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), some people came to visit him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in prayer while sitting, and the people began to pray standing. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured to them to sit down, and after finishing the prayer, he said: "The Imam is appointed so that he may be followed. When he bows, you should also bow; when he raises his head, you should also raise your heads; and when he prays sitting, you should also pray sitting."

They will be the worst of creatures in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

During this, the color of Hazrat Uthman's (may Allah be pleased with him) face kept changing. Then, when Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was besieged on the day of the house, we said to him, "O Leader of the Believers! Why do you not fight?" Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) asked, "Which spring is this?" People informed her that it was the spring of Haw'ab. Upon hearing its name, she said, "I think I should return from here." One of her companions said, "You should keep going; when the Muslims see you, perhaps Allah will bring about reconciliation among them through you." She replied, "Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: 'What will be the condition of one of you when the dogs of Haw'ab will bark at her?'"

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) brought a prisoner to my place. I got busy with the women and became heedless, and the prisoner ran away. After a short while, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned and asked, "Where is the prisoner?" I replied, "I was busy with the women and became heedless, and during that time he ran away." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "May your hands be broken! What have you done?" Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went outside and announced among the people about the prisoner. People went out in search of him and brought him back. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me, and I was turning my hands over and looking at them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What has happened to you? Have you gone mad?" I replied, "You had cursed me, so I am turning my hands over and looking to see which of them will break." Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his hands for supplication, and after praising and glorifying Allah, he said, "O Allah! I am also a human being, and like other human beings, I also get angry. So, for any believing man or woman whom I have cursed, make it a means of purification and cleansing for them."
