It is narrated from Hazrat Kuraib, who was the freed slave of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a woman who was in her mahaf (mahaf is like a howdah but without a dome). It was said to her that this is the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So she took hold of her child's arm, who was with her, and submitted: O Messenger of Allah, is there Hajj for this boy as well? He replied: "Yes, and you will have a reward."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaidullah bin Kuraiz (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No day is Satan seen more humiliated, more rejected, and more enraged than on the Day of Arafah, because he sees the mercy of Allah descending upon the people of Arafah and great sins being forgiven. Except on the day of Badr, Satan was also in this state." The people asked: What happened on that day, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He saw Jibreel arranging the ranks of the angels."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah in the year Makkah was conquered, and there was a helmet on his head. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) removed the helmet, a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Ibn Khatal (he was a disbeliever whose name was ‘Abdul ‘Uzza; the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had made his blood permissible) is hanging onto the curtains of the Ka‘bah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Kill him."

Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was not in the state of Ihram that day.

It is narrated from Hazrat Imran Ansari that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to me while I had stopped under a tree on the way to Makkah. He asked: Why did you stop under this tree? I said: For shade. He asked: For any other reason? I said: No, I only stopped for shade. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you reach Mina between the two mountains (and he gestured with his hand towards the east), there is a place called Sarar, there is a tree under which the sandals of seventy Prophets were cut, or seventy Prophets received Prophethood." Thus, he was pleased because of this.

It is narrated from Ibn Abi Mulaika that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by a leprous woman who was performing tawaf of the Ka'bah. He said: O slave-woman of Allah! Do not trouble the people; if only you would sit in your house. So she remained in her house. A man met her and said: The person who forbade you has died, now you may go out. The woman replied: I am not such that I would obey him during his life and disobey him after his death.

It is narrated from Muhammad bin Yahya bin Hibban that a man passed by Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) at Rabdha (the name of a place). Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: Where are you intending to go? He replied: For Hajj. Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: Have you not set out with any other intention? He said: No. Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then begin the deed. That man said: I set out until I reached Makkah and stayed there, then I saw the people and made my way through them, and what do I see but the same person who had met me at Rabdha was present, that is, Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him). He recognized me upon seeing me and said: Are you the same one to whom I narrated the hadith?
