It is narrated from Yahya bin Ya’mar, he says: I asked Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them),“O Abu Abdur Rahman, some people believe that there is no such thing as destiny (taqdeer).”He asked,“Are any of those people present among us (in this era)?”I said,“Yes, (they are present).”He said,“When you meet them, convey this message from me: Ibn Umar disassociates himself from you for the sake of Allah Almighty, and you are disassociated from him.”Then he said:“Abu Hafs Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) along with some people, suddenly a man came. There were signs of travel on him and he was not a resident of the city. He came walking briskly and sat in front of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He asked, ‘O Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), what is Islam?’ The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: ‘Islam is that you bear witness that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, you establish prayer, pay zakat, perform Hajj of the House of Allah, perform Umrah, perform ghusl after major impurity, perform complete ablution, and fast in the blessed month of Ramadan.’ He said, ‘If I perform these (obligations), am I a Muslim?’ The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Yes (by performing these obligations you will become a Muslim).’ He said, ‘You have spoken the truth.’ He (Ibn Umar) narrated the complete hadith regarding the questions about faith (iman), excellence (ihsan), and the Day of Judgment.”

Chapter mentioning the removal of sins and raising of ranks in Paradise by perfecting ablution in hardship, and the reward of waiting for prayer after prayer as that of one guarding the frontier for Allah's sake
Hadith Number: 5
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Shall I not tell you of a deed by which Allah erases sins and raises ranks?" The noble Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, said: "Why not, O Messenger of Allah, (please do tell us)." He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Performing ablution thoroughly despite hardship and difficulty, taking many steps towards the mosques (i.e., coming to the mosque for prayer even if it is far), and waiting for one prayer after another prayer—this is your jihad, this is your jihad." Both times, «فَذَالِكُم’الرِّبَاطَ» he said, "This is your jihad." In the narration of (the narrator of the hadith) Ali bin Hujr, «فَذَالِكُم’الرِّبَاطَ» it is mentioned once. In the narration of Yunus bin Abdul A'la, instead of «الا ادلكم» there is «اخبركم» , "Shall I not inform you of such a deed." And in the narration of the noble Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, «بلىٰ» the words "Why not" (please do tell us) are not mentioned.

Beware, some people will be driven away from my Hawd just as a stray camel is driven away. I will call them, ‘Come!’ but it will be said, ‘They introduced new things (innovations) in the religion after you.’ So I will say, ‘Be off, be off (from the mercy of Allah).’”These are the words of the narration of Ibn ‘Ulayyah.
