Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
(252) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الْجُلُوسِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ.
252 Chapter: Recommending Sitting in the Mosque after Fajr until Sunrise.
Hadith Number: 757
نا بندار ، نا محمد بن جعفر . ح وحدثنا ابو موسى ، حدثنا عبد الرحمن ، قالا: حدثنا شعبة ، عن سماك ، انه سال جابر بن سمرة: كيف كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصنع إذا صلى الصبح؟ قال:" كان يقعد في مصلاه إذا صلى الصبح حتى تطلع الشمس" . هذا لفظ حديث بندار
It is narrated from Hazrat Simak that he asked Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), "What would the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) do after performing the morning prayer?" He replied, "When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the morning prayer, he would remain seated at his prayer place until the sun had risen." These are the words of Bundar's narration.
