Chapter mentioning the story of the poor man and his wife who were content, and what Allah honored them with
Hadith Number: 9330
(Narration from another chain) The narrator says: A man came to his family, and when he saw their need, he went out towards other creation. When his wife saw this situation, she went to the millstone and set it right, then went to the oven and lit it, and then said: O Allah! Provide for us. Then she saw that the tub was filled, and when she looked at the oven, it too was filled. When the husband returned, he asked: Has anything come after I left? His wife said: Yes, a lot has come from Allah Almighty. Then he went to the millstone and... When this matter was mentioned to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: If he had not lifted it, it would have kept running until the Day of Resurrection. I was present with the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he said: By Allah! If any one of you were to gather firewood and bring it, and sell it to avoid asking (begging), this act would be better for him than going to someone and asking him for something.

It is narrated from the uncle of Abdullah bin Khubaib, he says: We were sitting in a gathering when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to us, and there were traces of water on his head. We said: O Messenger of Allah! You look cheerful and pleasant. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Yes. Then people started talking about wealth, upon which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: There is no harm in wealth for the one who fears Allah, but for the one who fears Allah, good health is better than wealth, and being cheerful is also among the blessings.

So I reached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was performing ablution. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his gaze towards me and then lowered it and said: "I intend to send you to such-and-such army, so Allah will keep you safe and will grant you spoils of war, and I desire for you a good share of wealth." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Amr! Good wealth is the best thing for a righteous man."
