It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will find that the first thing to be lost from your religion is trustworthiness, and the last thing is prayer."

Ibn Abzi narrates from his father Abzi (may Allah be pleased with him) that (one day) the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) overlooked a verse, and after completing the prayer, he asked: "Is Ubayy among the people?" Sayyiduna Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "Has such-and-such verse been abrogated or have you forgotten it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Rather, it was made me forget."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "As long as a person waits for the prayer, he remains in the ruling of prayer."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty will announce on the Day of Resurrection: Where are My neighbors? Where are My neighbors? The angels will ask: O our Lord! Who is worthy to come near Your neighborhood? Allah Almighty will say: Where are those who used to populate the mosques?"

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, there are some people who sit in the mosque, and the angels become their companions. If they are absent, the angels search for them; if they fall ill, the angels visit them; and if they have a need, the angels assist them. The one who sits in the mosque certainly attains at least one benefit: either someone benefits from him, or he speaks a word of wisdom, or he is waiting for mercy."

Abu Uthman says that Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him): O my brother! Remain attached to the mosque, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The mosque is the home of every pious person."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a Muslim goes out towards the mosque, Allah Almighty writes one good deed for every step he takes and erases one sin, until he reaches his place."

Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the people of Banu Salamah were settled in a corner of Madinah (far from the mosque). They intended to move closer to the mosque, so this verse was revealed: «إنا نحن نحيي الموتى ونكتب ما قدموا وآثارهم» “Surely, We give life to the dead and We record what they have sent before and their traces.”So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Indeed, your footsteps are being recorded.”So they did not move.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“There are three types of people who are under the protection and guarantee of Allah: the one who goes out towards any mosque of Allah, the one who goes out to strive in the way of Allah, and the one who goes out to perform Hajj.”

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“There are six qualities such that if any Muslim adopts one of them and dies in that state, then Allah Almighty has taken it upon Himself to admit him into Paradise: (1) The person who set out for jihad and died in that direction, Allah Almighty is the guarantor (of Paradise) for such a person; (2) The person who followed a funeral procession, if he died in that direction, then Allah Almighty will be responsible for him as well; (3) The person who went to visit a sick person, if he died in that direction, then Allah Almighty will be responsible for him; (4) The person who performed ablution and then set out towards the mosque to offer prayer, if he died in that direction, then Allah Almighty will be his guarantor; (5) The person who went to an (Islamic) caliph to support and honor him, if he died in that direction, then Allah Almighty will be his guarantor; and (6) The person who stays at home, does not backbite any Muslim, nor becomes a cause of anger or punishment for anyone, if he died in that state, then Allah Almighty will be the guarantor (of Paradise) for him as well.”
