Narrated from Sayyidah Umm al-Fadl bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) that she came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I saw an ugly dream at night. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "What is it?" She said: It is very severe. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "After all, what is it?" She said: It seemed to me that a piece of your body was cut off and thrown into my lap. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You have seen a good dream, (its interpretation is that, insha’Allah, my daughter) Fatimah will have a child who will be in your lap." Indeed, Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) had a child, Husayn, who was in my lap, just as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. One day I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and placed Husayn in his lap. When I turned towards him, tears were flowing from his eyes. I said: O Prophet of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, what has happened to you? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Jibril (peace be upon him) came to me and informed me that my Ummah will kill this son of mine." I said: This son (Husayn)? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes, and he brought me the red soil of that land as well."

The Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Lady Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrate that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to one of them: "Today, such an angel came to me in the house who had never come before. He said to me: 'Your this handsome son will be killed. If you wish, I can show you the soil from the place where he will be killed.' Then he took out red soil (and showed it to me)."

Abdullah bin Naji narrates from his father that he was walking with Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) carrying a vessel of water for purification. When they reached the place of Nainawa on their way to Siffin, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) called out: "Abu Abdullah! Stop, stop by the bank of the Euphrates River." I said: "What is here?" He said: "One day I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his eyes were filled with tears. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Has someone angered you? Why are your eyes shedding tears?' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Before you arrived, Jibreel (Gabriel) had just left me. He informed me that Husayn will be killed by the bank of the Euphrates River.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Then he said, "Shall I let you smell the fragrance of its soil?" I said: "Yes." So he stretched out his hand, took a handful of soil, and gave it to me. I could not control myself and began to weep.'"

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not disturb the Abyssinians until they disturb you, for the one who will loot the treasures of the Ka'bah will be a man from Abyssinia with thin shins."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man will be given allegiance between the Black Stone and the Station of Ibrahim. The people who violate the sanctities of the House of Allah will be its own people. When they do this, then the destruction and ruin of the Arabs will be beyond description. Then the Abyssinians will destroy the Ka'bah and after that it will not be inhabited; these people will take out its treasures."

Saeed bin Sam'an says that Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man will be given allegiance between the Black Stone and the Station of Ibrahim, and those who violate the sanctities of the House of Allah will be its own people. When they violate the sanctities of the House of Allah, then the destruction and ruin of the Arabs will reach its peak. Then the Abyssinians will come and lay it to waste, and then the House of Allah will not be inhabited again. These are the people who will extract the treasures of the Ka'bah."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Harith bin Malik bin Barsaa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“From today until the Day of Resurrection, there will be no attack on this (i.e., Makkah), nor will any Qurayshi be bound and killed.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Different armies will not cease fighting at the House of Allah, until one of their armies is swallowed up by the earth."

Sayyiduna Wathilah bin Asqa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and said:“Do you people think that I will be the last among you to die? Be aware! In terms of death, I will be the first among you, then you will follow me in groups (congregations), some of you will kill others.”

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah, the Exalted, gathers the first and the last on the Day of Resurrection, He will come to the believers, and at that time the believers will be on a high place. (The narrators asked ‘Uqbah about the meaning of «کوم» , so he explained its meaning as 'a high place.') Allah, the Exalted, will ask: (O believers!) Do you recognize your Lord? They will say: If He introduces Himself, we will recognize Him. Then Allah, the Exalted, will speak to them a second time and will smile before them, (upon seeing this) they will fall down in prostration."
