Allah’s saying: "Say, it has been revealed to me..." (Tafsir Al-Jinn)
`Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not recite the Qur'an to the jinn, nor did he see them. The fact is that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went with his companions at that time to the market of 'Ukaz, when the doors of the heavens had been closed to the devils and flames of fire were being hurled at them. So a group of devils went back to their people and said, "Our access to the heavens has been blocked and flames of fire are being thrown at us." They said, "There must be some new matter that is the cause of this, so go around to the east and west and find out what is the reason that the news from the heavens has stopped coming." They began to roam the earth, turning to the east and west. Some of them came towards Tihamah (the land of Hijaz) to go to the market of 'Ukaz, and at that time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was leading his companions in the Fajr prayer at (the place of) Nakhlah. When they heard the Qur'an, they listened attentively and said, "This is the very reason the news from the heavens has ceased." Then they returned to their people and said, "O our people! We have heard a wondrous Qur'an which guides to the right path, so we have believed in it and we will never associate anyone with Allah." Then Allah the Exalted revealed Surah al-Jinn to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Say (O Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him): It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened (to the Qur'an)."

Allah’s saying: "Do not move your tongue with it..." (Tafsir Al-Qiyamah)
`Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding Allah Almighty’s statement,“Do not move your tongue with it to hasten to remember it,”says that the incident is that at the time of the revelation of the Noble Qur’an, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would feel difficulty, so he would move his lips. Sa‘id said that Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to me,“I move my lips for you as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to move his lips.”So Sa‘id said,“Just as Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas was moving his lips, I also move my lips in the same way.”Then Allah Almighty revealed this command:“Do not move your tongue to hasten to remember it. Indeed, upon Us is its collection and its recitation,”meaning, to gather it in your (peace and blessings be upon him) chest, so that you (peace and blessings be upon him) may recite it. (That is, at the time of the revelation of the revelation) you should listen silently and attentively, then its recitation is Our responsibility. After this divine command, when Jibril would bring the revelation, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would listen to his words in silence, and after his departure, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would repeat the same words that Jibril (peace be upon him) had said.

Allah’s saying: "Then he will be judged..." (Tafsir Al-Inshiqaq)
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever is called to account on the Day of Resurrection will be punished. I said: But Allah, the Exalted, says:“Then he will soon be given an easy reckoning, and he will return to his people rejoicing.”He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is not the reckoning; this is only the presentation of deeds. Whoever is questioned in detail about the reckoning on the Day of Resurrection will be punished.

Sayyiduna Alqamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We went to Syria, and Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us and said, "Is there anyone among you who recites according to the recitation of Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him)?" I said, "Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite it like this: (By the night as it envelops, and by the male and the female)." He said, "By Allah! I also heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite it like this, and the people here want me to recite: (And by Him Who created the male and the female), but I do not accept their way."

Aswad bin Qais says: I heard from Sayyiduna Jundub bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him), he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became ill and did not get up for two or three nights. Then a woman (A’warā bint Harb, the sister of Abu Sufyan, the wife of Abu Lahab, the carrier of firewood) came and said,“O Muhammad! I think your devil has left you (this she-devil said mockingly), because I see that he has not come to you for two or three nights.”Then Allah Almighty revealed this Surah:“By the morning brightness, and by the night when it covers with darkness, your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased.”
