Prophecy of the Prophet for Sayyida Umm Waraqah (RA)
Hadith Number: 530
Sayyida Umm Waraqah bint Abdullah bin Harith Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: She had memorized the Qur'an. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was about to go for the Battle of Badr, she said to him: "Do you permit me to go with you? I will treat and nurse your wounded and sick, perhaps Allah will grant me martyrdom." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has written martyrdom for you." Thus, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to call her 'the martyr' and he ordered her to lead her household in prayer. She had a mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer), and she continued to lead her household in prayer until her slave girl and her slave strangled her. She had told both of them that after her death they would be free. Both of them killed her during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). It became well known that Umm Waraqah had been killed, and that her slave and slave girl had killed her. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) announced among the people: "Umm Waraqah's slave girl and her slave strangled her and killed her, and both have fled." They were brought and crucified, and they were the first to be executed in Madinah. Then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke the truth. He used to say: 'Come with us, we will meet the martyr.'"

The daughter of Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: During the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), my father participated in a battle, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take care of us regarding the milking of our goat. He would milk the goat into a vessel and it would become full. Then when Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) returned (from the battle), he would milk it, and its milk returned (became less).

Clarification regarding certain matters
Hadith Number: 534
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that Najdah Haruri wrote a letter to Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) in which he asked about killing children, at what age the rulings of orphanhood end for a child, about women—whether they will participate in fighting and jihad, about khums, and about slaves—whether they have a share in the spoils of war. (Regarding these matters) he asked: So he wrote a letter to me, as for children, if you are Khidr (peace be upon him), then you will be able to distinguish between a believer and a disbeliever, so kill him; as for a child, when he reaches puberty, the rulings of orphanhood end for him; as for women, they used to go out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for fighting, they would treat the sick, take care of the wounded, and participate in fighting; as for khums, we said: it is our right, but our people did not accept this from us; as for the slave, he used to be given a share from the spoils of war.

It is not permissible to punish with fire; apostates are to be killed
Hadith Number: 535
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he mentioned some people whom Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) had burned, so he said: If I had been there, I would not have burned them, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not punish anyone with Allah's punishment (i.e., fire)." And I would certainly have killed them, and also because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever changes his religion, kill him."
