It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to those who performed li'an: "The reckoning of both of you is with Allah; surely one of you is lying, and now you have no authority over this woman." That man said: "O Messenger of Allah! What about my wealth?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have no wealth. If your accusation against her is true, then in exchange for that wealth you had made her private parts lawful for yourself, and if your accusation against her is false, then this matter is very far from you."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) laid siege to the people of Ta’if, but did not achieve any benefit from it. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) announced one day that,“Tomorrow, insha’Allah, we will return.”The Muslims felt uneasy at this command. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) became aware of this and told them to stay. The next day, there was fighting, and many Muslims were wounded. On that day, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again made the same announcement:“Tomorrow, insha’Allah, we will return.”This time, the Muslims were pleased, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled upon seeing this.
