حَدِیث مطَرِّفِ بنِ عَبدِ اللَّهِ عَن اَبِیهِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنهمَا
Hadith of Mutarrif ibn ‘Abdullah from his father (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 16319
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا علي بن عاصم ، اخبرني الجريري ، عن ابي العلاء بن الشخير ، عن ابيه ، قال: رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" يصلي في نعليه"، قال:" فتنخع، فتفله تحت نعله اليسرى". قال ثم رايته:" حكها بنعليه".
Abu Alaa bin Shukhair narrates from his father: I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) performing prayer, and during it, he spat nasal mucus under his foot and rubbed it with his shoe which he was wearing on his foot.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، م: 554، وهذا سند ضعيف لضعف على ابن عاصم، وسماعه من الجريري بعد الاختلاط
Hadith Number: 16320
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا روح ، قال: حدثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن مطرف بن عبد الله بن الشخير ، عن ابيه ، انه سال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، او سئل نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، عن رجل يصوم الدهر، فقال:" لا صام ولا افطر".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding perpetual fasting: Such a person neither fasts nor breaks the fast.

Hadith Number: 16321
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، قال: اخبرنا الجريري ، عن ابي العلاء ، عن مطرف بن عبد الله ، عن ابيه ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" كان يصلي، ويبزق تحت قدمه اليسرى".
Abu Alaa bin Shukhair narrates from his father that once you were praying, and during this, you spat under your left foot.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، م: 554
Hadith Number: 16322
(حديث مرفوع) انبانا عبد الوهاب ، قال: اخبرنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن مطرف بن عبد الله ، عن ابيه ، انه سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول:" ويقول ابن آدم مالي مالي، وهل لك من مالك إلا ما اكلت فافنيت، او لبست فابليت، او تصدقت فامضيت".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: The son of Adam says, "My wealth, my wealth," while your wealth is only that which you have sent forward as charity, or worn out by wearing, or consumed and finished by eating.

(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا حسن ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن قتادة ، عن مطرف بن الشخير ، عن ابيه ، وكان ابوه قد اتى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" من صام الدهر، فلا صام ولا افطر".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding perpetual fasting: Such a person neither fasts nor breaks the fast.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح
Hadith Number: 16324
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا ابان ، حدثنا قتادة ، حدثنا مطرف بن عبد الله ، ان اباه حدثه، قال: دفعت إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو" يقرا هذه السورة الهاكم التكاثر. فذكر مثله سواء، وليس فيه قول قتادة، يعني مثل حديث همام.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah that once I was present in the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at that time he was reciting Surah At-Takathur, then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith.

Hadith Number: 16325
حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد ، قال: عبد الله بن احمد: وسمعته انا من عبد الله بن محمد بن ابي شيبة، قال: حدثنا زيد بن الحباب ، عن شداد بن سعيد ابي طلحة الراسبي ، قال: حدثني غيلان بن جرير ، عن مطرف بن عبد الله بن الشخير ، عن ابيه قال: اتيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو" يصلي قاعدا او قائما وهو يقرا الهاكم التكاثر حتى ختمها".
Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Ahmad: and I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Shaddad ibn Sa'id Abu Talhah al-Rasibi, he said: Ghaylan ibn Jarir narrated to me, from Mutarrif ibn Abdullah ibn al-Shikhkhir, from his father, he said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he was "praying sitting or standing, and he was reciting Alhakum al-Takathur until he completed it."

Hadith Number: 16326
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا حماد ، قال: اخبرنا ثابت ، عن مطرف ، عن ابيه ، قال: اتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو" يصلي، ولصدره ازيز كازيز المرجل".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah that I once saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and, due to excessive weeping and lamentation, such sounds were coming from his blessed chest as are produced by a boiling pot.

Hadith Number: 16327
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا عفان ، قال: حدثنا همام ، اخبرنا قتادة ، عن مطرف بن عبد الله ، عن ابيه ، قال دخلت على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يقرا الهاكم التكاثر حتى زرتم المقابر قال فقال:" يقول ابن آدم مالي مالي، وهل لك يا ابن آدم من مالك إلا ما اكلت فافنيت، او لبست فابليت، او تصدقت فامضيت"، وكان قتادة يقول: كل صدقة لم تقبض فليس بشيء.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah that a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was reciting Surah At-Takathur. The son of Adam says, "My wealth, my wealth," while your wealth is only that which you have given in charity and sent ahead, or worn and worn out, or eaten and finished.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، م: 2958
Hadith Number: 16328
حدثنا بهز ، قال: حدثنا همام ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن مطرف ، عن ابيه دخل على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فسمعه يقول. فذكر مثل حديث عفان، ولم يذكر قول قتادة.
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
