Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed us to perform four rak‘ahs after Jumu‘ah. Sufyan says: Other narrators have transmitted these words: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Whoever among you wishes to perform prayer after Jumu‘ah, he should perform four rak‘ahs.”(The narrator says) This narration is better; the words I have memorized are the former ones.
