Hadith Number: 1137
حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: ابصر الاقرع بن حابس رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يقبل الحسن او الحسين رضي الله عنهما، فقال: إن لي عشرة من الولد ما قبلت احدا منهم قط، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" انه لا يرحم من لا يرحم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Aqra’ bin Habis saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kissing Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: I have ten children but I have never kissed any one of them. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“He who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.”
