٢٠١٥٩ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: نا عباد بن العوام عن اشعث عن الشعبي ان ام (البنين) (١) بنت (عيينة) (٢) بن (حصن) (٣) كانت تحت عثمان بن عفان، فلما (حصر) (٤) طلقها، وقد كان ارسل إليها ليشتري منها ثمنها (فابت) (٥) فلما (قتل) (٦) اتت عليا فذكرت ذلك له فقال: تركها حتى إذا اشرف على الموت طلقها، فورثها (٧).

(٥) في [ط]: (قامت).
(٦) في [أ]: (قيل).
(٧) منقطع ضعيف؛ أشعث ضعيف، والشعبي عن عثمان منقطع.
Hazrat Sha’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Umm Baneen bint ‘Uyaynah bin Hisn was married to Hazrat ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan (may Allah be pleased with him). When Hazrat ‘Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was besieged in the house of caliphate, he divorced Umm Baneen. He used to send messages to her to buy her share from her, but she refused. After the martyrdom of Hazrat ‘Uthman, Umm Baneen mentioned this matter to Hazrat ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: He left her, and then when death approached, he divorced her and made her an heir.
